The University of La Verne invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to serve as a core doctoral faculty member in the doctoral clinical psychology program beginning fall 2019.

Specific Duties:

Teach required load including a minimum of three courses in the Psy.D. program in the areas of program need. Serve as dissertation chair and/or committee member. Conduct research. Provide advisement and mentoring. Provide service on appropriate subcommittees and service to the department, college and university.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications for the doctoral position includes a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. Applicants must come from an APA-accredited doctoral program, have completed an APA-accredited internship, and have completed or be in the process of completing their postdoctoral hours towards licensure. Selected candidate is expected to obtain licensure in California within 3 years of initial employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants with training in the following areas will be given primary consideration: assessment, child psychology/human development/lifespan, CBT, consultation, ethics, forensic, and supervision.
