Electrical Engineering Technology Tenure Track Faculty
Position Title: Electrical Engineering Technology Tenure Track Faculty - commencing January 2019
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology and two (2) years' work experience in electrical engineering or a closely related field, effective interpersonal, and leadership skills are required.
A Master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field, or current enrollment with significant progress in a Master's degree program in electrical engineering or a closely related field is preferred. Successful completion of a Master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field is a condition of continuous employment.
This full-time, ten-month faculty position is with the Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) program at Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC). The MVCC EET program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accrediting Board for Engineering Technology (ETAC-ABET).
Responsibilities include instruction for a wide range of courses in the program and other related duties within the College as assigned. Candidates must have the ability to teach electrical engineering technology related courses in both the classroom and laboratory setting.
