DIRECTOR OF STUDENT INFORMATION AND REGISTRAR
Duties: The Director of Student Information & Registrar is responsible for Penn SP2 overall coursework strategy, for managing student records and tracking overall and programmatic enrollment. The Director will provide leadership for the integrity of the School's academic and student records in compliance with all relevant regulations. The Director will oversee and manage several key processes including but not limited to student academic progress, graduation audits, the tuition and billing processes, the course evaluation process, professional licensure verification, and non-degree continuing education records management. The Director will be expected to develop, implement and manage systems to track data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 5-7 years progressively responsible work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a university setting, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Strong analytical skills with solid database management experience; able to utilize the Data Warehouse, Student Information Systems, etc, in order to provide regular reporting of student related information. Experience will or ability to learn the Pennant tuition billing system. Strong knowledge of academic and student record keeping requirements and regulations. The successful candidate will possess initiative, be results-oriented and have leadership abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with all levels. Excellent organization skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects; able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations. Strong computing skills in MS Office and Excel; ability to write queries a plus.
