Assistant / Associate Professor Health Programs

Board Eligible/Board Certified position involves inpatient and outpatient surgical patient care. 

Michigan State University is seeking to add a full-time faculty member in urological surgery to join their growing urological practice.  This Board Eligible/Board Certified position involves inpatient and outpatient surgical urologic care, teaching, and research.  Office procedures include ultrasound-guided prostate biopsies, cystoscopies, and computerized urodynamics, in addition to other routine urologic office procedures.  The urology faculty member will provide general urologic, endoscopic, minimally invasive / laparoscopic, oncologic and benign open and DaVinci (DaVinci Si and Xi), and prostatic surgeries.  Candidates will have the opportunity to provide education for urologic surgery residents within an ACGME accredited urologic surgery residency and for medical students in both clinical and academic settings.  The MSU Division of Urology has an established clinical program that provides a broad range of opportunities for clinical practice, teaching, and research.  MSU’s health colleges (Osteopathic Medicine, Human Medicine, Nursing, and Veterinary Medicine) collaborate to provide high quality medical care, research, and education.  MSU is one of the top research universities in the world and has one of the biggest, greenest campuses in the nation.  

Required Degree

Doctorate -Urological Surgery

Minimum Requirements

D.O. or M.D. License in Michigan, Board Eligible or Board Certified in urological surgery.

Desired Qualifications

Leadership experience is desirable.
