This position will provide clinical and administrative support to a faculty member in the Division of GYN/ONC. Duties include scheduling academic appointments and travel arrangements for faculty, scheduling patient appointments, answer and screen phone calls, insurance precertification, and provide physician clinical support. Requires strong computer skills, detail-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, have knowledge of UK procedures and systems, and the ability to work well with faculty and staff, as well as outside referring physicians and their staff.

Physical Requirements

The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.



Shift

Mostly Monday-Friday days, other shifts as assigned. May require some holidays.
