Analytics and Visualization Manager

Full/Part Time: Full-Time
The Quantitative Methodology and Innovation Division at the Florida Center for Reading Research. Located in Innovation Park at 2010 Levy Avenue.
Lead visualization projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, and data automation systems.
Oversee the design and delivery of reports.
Manage and optimize processes for data mining, modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables.
Examine, interpret, and report results of analytical initiatives to center staff.
Bachelor's degree or a combination of post high school education and related experience equal to 4 years.
Working knowledge of basic regression, longitudinal models, and psychometrics.
Programming skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
Experience writing advanced SAS or R code statements, models, and macros.
Strong problem solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Statistics (or a related area) is preferred.
Anticipated Salary Range
Salary to be commensurate with education and experience.
This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
Soft Money Funded Position
This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
