Serves as the lead college administrative officer for the designated campus and as an instructional and administrative leader for college-wide academic schools and programs. Is a champion for the college and campus within the community and geographic service area. Serves as an integral “One-College” team member of the President’s Cabinet. Is a strong visionary leader who has the demonstrated ability to motivate faculty, professionals, and staff to work toward a common set of goals.

Earned Doctorate from an accredited institution or commitment to complete Doctorate within two years.
Five years of leadership experience in academic or academic support area in higher education.
A strong sense of integrity, a demonstrated commitment to the community college mission and respect for the broad range of university transfer and workforce degree and certificate programs offered through the college.
Dynamic, forward thinking, and collaborative leadership style, with a commitment to evidence-based innovation and continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability to lead actions towards goal achievement.
Evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the racial, socioeconomic, academic, and cultural diversity within the urban community college student population.
Instructional and community college experience preferred.
Minimum Salary: Salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., as well as frequent evening & weekend hours.

Special Instructions to Applicants:
The Metro Campus Provost will oversee Schools of Allied Health, Nursing, and Business & IT, including Corrections programming. The Center for Creativity will also report to the Metro Provost.
The West Campus Provost role will oversee Interdisciplinary Support for the College, including Institutional Research & Assessment, the Division of Engaged Learning (Freshman Seminar, Faculty Development and High Impact Practices) and Online Learning.
