Director, Sweetland Center for Writing
The University of Michigan is searching for a new faculty director of the Sweetland Center for Writing. The new director will be an outstanding scholar, teacher, and administrator, who qualifies for a tenured faculty appointment in a relevant department at the rank of associate or full professor. Candidates will possess a record of innovative and collaborative leadership experience, as well as a distinguished record of research and teaching in writing studies, rhetoric, digital and multimodal composition, English and education, or a related field. The directorship is a five-year renewable appointment.
Application review will begin September 28, 2018 for an expected start date of July 1, 2019 for the directorship and 9/1/2019 for the tenure-track appointment. This is a university-year appointment.
