The P.A.C.E. Alumni Administrative Position is designed to provide excellent customer service to guests who call or tour the P.A.C.E. Program. This person would be responsible in providing administrative support and project management support to the P.A.C.E. team.
This job exists to ensure smooth operations in the P.A.C.E. office and to help continue to engage prospective students and graduates of th P.A.C.E. Program in alumni events and outreach activities.
As a program that teaches young adults employment and independent living skills, we think it is crucial that the program and institution employs a P.A.C.E. graduate, as it directly aligns with the mission and vision of the P.A.C.E. program, but also National Louis University.
• Performs administrative and office support activities for the P.A.C.E. Team. Duties may include answering telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate team member, greeting visitors, making copies, scanning, filing, maintaining databases and managing office mail.
• Help with P.A.C.E. outreach and recruitment efforts. Mailing information packets to inquiries, sharing personal experience to tour groups, organizing prospective student files, assisting Outreach Development Specialist with tours, fairs and community events.
• Maintain alumni database by following up with graduates for relevant contact information such as email, phone number and addresses. Help to assist the P.A.C.E. team in planning and executing alumni events such as workshops or social activities.
• Will perform other duties as assigned
This applicant must be a graduate of the P.A.C.E. program at National Louis University.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Pleasant, professional demeanor and a service orientation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of individuals.
Ability to handle frequent interruptions in a positive manner.
Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
