The Department of German at Princeton University has the occasional need for lecturers to teach German language courses during the academic year. Depending on the background of the applicant and the needs of the Department of German, responsibilities may include teaching full courses, leading language sections, leading precepts, supervising graduate student teaching assistants, and participating in course and curriculum design. Part-time or full-time positions may be available, dependent upon the needs of the Department and the qualifications of the candidate. Appointment(s) will be made at the rank of Lecturer. Essential Qualifications: Advanced degree required; Ph.D. preferred. Prior teaching experience at the college or university level. Native or near-native fluency in German. Proven experience teaching German at a university level.
