Operations Manager

Job description

Albion College invites applications for the position of Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Career and Internship Center in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of Albion College, the Division of Academic Affairs, and the Career and Internship Center. Must exhibit an appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial and ethnic backgrounds.

FLSA Classification: Salaried / Non-Exempt

Status: Full-Time

Duration: 11 months per year (August – June)

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum two to three years of related experience in a professional setting working with clients and customers
  • Experience in higher education or working with students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to balance and move forward multiple projects
