The Department of Neuroscience of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, home of the Center for Brain Immunology and Glia (BIG), seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants holding a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and demonstrating outstanding scientific achievement will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates whose research aligns with the department strengths and addresses Glia biology, Sensory Biology, neurodegeneration, or neurodevelopment. The successful candidate will have access to state of the art research facilities and collaborations in a collegial environment where Neuroscience is an institution-wide strength that brings together faculty and students from thirteen departments.
