Position Summary

The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Principal Investigator to support activities related to an externally-funded project called the Guilford County Healthy Relationships Initiative (HRI). Housed in the Department of Counseling and Educational Development, the HRI Project is a county-wide effort to promote happy, healthy, and safe relationships of all kinds and prevent the negative consequences of relationship distress. Core components of HRI include community mobilization, social marketing, and educational programming. The Program Coordinator will assist with scheduling and organizing meetings and events with community partners and stakeholders, perform social media tasks and other forms of community outreach, professional writing and speaking, facilitating relationship enrichment and family wellness educational programming, and overseeing day-to-day activities. Other duties include assisting with data collection and reporting, updating the web site, and coordinating with other project staff for operational support. Some work on evenings and weekends will occasionally be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with two years' experience is required in the area of Human Development, Family Studies, Counseling, Psychology or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree preferred. Experience with coordination of grant activities is preferred.

Recruitment Range $38,000 - $41,000
