New York University Abu Dhabi invites applications from outstanding scholars to strengthen its program in Social Research and Public Policy. We will consider applicants with active and cutting-edge research agendas in all areas of theoretically informed social research. The position is open rank. Successful candidates will begin their appointment September 1, 2019. Applications from scholars with backgrounds and experiences different to those represented in the program and/or women are especially encouraged.

Terms of employment are highly competitive and include generous start-up and on-going research funds, as well as housing and educational subsidies for children. Faculty may also spend an occasional semester at NYU New York and other sites of the global network (see below), engaging in both research and teaching opportunities.
