Job description

Duties: This position will support the Director of the Penn Athletics Wharton Leadership Academy and Head Women's Lacrosse Coach. The role will be heavily engaged in the planning and logistics related to both programs, developing and executing deliverables on tight timelines, cultivating relationships, and developing strategies to facilitate program goals. The Assistant Director for Leadership/Director of Women's Lacrosse Operations (ADL/DWLO) will work with coaches daily, along with key members of the Penn community. An organized, energetic, creative and confident team player is critical to the success of this position. Extensive experience and/or knowledge of the game of lacrosse essential. The ADL/DWLO should be comfortable speaking in public and possess the ability to self-direct and lead by example.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience as a player or coach preferred; excellent organizational skills; excellent oral and written communications skills; strong computer skills; knowledge of social media; career interest in either coaching or athletic administration preferred. Ability to work evenings & weekends as required. Ability to travel as required. Valid driver's license.
