Job description

Duties: The individual filling this position will be involved with research into using adoptive T-cell immunotherapy to control cancer. He/she will perform a number of basic and advanced cellular and molecular techniques independently for the laboratory including cell culture, cell transfection, flow cytometry, ELISA and RQ-PCR. Additional duties include assisting with bioinformatics analysis of high-dimensional RNA-seq and flow cytometry data.

Qualifications: A Master's Degree with coursework and extensive experience in biology, chemistry or bioengineering-related disciplines and 3 years to 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. PhD preferred. Applicant should be comfortable with computational approaches to data analysis including familiarity with the R programming language. Progressive years of prior laboratory experience is preferred with expertise in flow cytometry, molecular biology and analysis of high-dimensional datasets, especially RNA-seq is highly desirable.
