Job Description:

Learning Objectives:
  • Learn and implement customer service techniques
  • Learn soft skills such as: communication, speaking responsibly and positivity
  • Obtain and share knowledge of student services departments and be able to assist incoming students in those areas during New Student Orientation


  • GPA of 2.0;
  • Have completed at least 6 credit hours at Tri-C;
  • Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress;
  • Adhere to college's confidentiality policy;
  • Successfully pass background/drug screening;
  • Above average skills interacting with people, welcoming new students to campus, My Tri-C Space navigation, registration, financial aid, tours, and making connections to campus resources;
  • Excellent communication skills and the passion to help others;
  • Ability to prioritize student service experiences;
  • Other duties as assigned
