Job Summary

Peer Mentor Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Attend scheduled mentor meetings
2. Work closely with the program coordinator and instructors to provide support for students
3. Provide support to assigned students i.e. referring students to tutoring, campus resources and community resources
4. Maintain record of contact
5. Participates with mentees in activities and workshops
6. Actively oversee workshops
7. Follow up with mentees via face to face meetings, phone calls and emails
8. Complete all work in a timely manner
9. Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Must have a passion for helping others to succeed! Knowledge of Construction Management and CAD is good but not required. Must be high energy, outgoing and be able to follow through with projects and be dependable. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
