Research Development Director
The Research Development Director leads the administration and oversight of the CCTS Pilot core's broad portfolio of research funding opportunities, to include the Pilot Request for Application (RFA), Pilot Review Committee and Pilot Award processes. Additionally, this role oversees and facilitates inter-institutional pilot offerings amongst the CCTS collaborative partnerships. The Research Development Director will project manage the Trial Innovation Network activities at the CCTS by engaging the CTSA national network to focus on operational innovation, excellence and facilitating research collaborations that leverage the expertise and resources of the CTSA program. The Research Development Director develops tactical plans to expand the CCTS Core pilot program and develops best practices to improve pilot program efficiency. This position serves as a representative of CCTS partnerships at the university, regional and national levels.
