Primary Function of Organization Unit: The ERA Project Team Administrative Specialist operates in an information-technology driven environment, reporting directly to the Project Manager in support of all activities relating to the implementation of the InfoEd Enterprise Research Administration (ERA) System. For the successful candidate, this is a time-limited position that will last at minimum for the duration of the ERA project, which is estimated to take approximately three years until completion. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an individual with the right aptitude to progress into expanded roles related to the project as well as other areas within the research domain of the University.

Essential Job Duties: Responsibilities for the ERA Project Team Administrative Specialist include, but are not limited to: -Assisting in the development and maintenance of presentations, communications, rosters, organization charts, other electronic materials and general organization of project activities -Updating project plans and action logs -Assisting with documenting, updating and tracking project budget -Participating in and serving as record keeper and scribe for project team and working group meetings -Tracking the progress of project milestones, action items and deliverables -Scheduling and organizing all logistics for virtual and physical project meetings including creation and archiving of recorded meeting transcripts -Managing multiple project schedules and calendars -Serving as facility and desktop computing support liaison for the project manager. -Proofing documents for errors -Writing, sending and responding to emails on behalf of the project manager and project team -Other relevant duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Education/Experience:

Department Required Skills: -Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills -Excellent attention to detail and time efficiency -Versatility and ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and demands -A digital native with innate ability to quickly source out, deploy and adapt new software application technologies to practical business needs -Ability to self-identify tasks to be completed prior to being explicitly asked to perform them and to manage those tasks to completion without the need for excessive close supervision -Specific proficiency in Google Applications (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Hangouts, Meeting, Groups, etc.) as well Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Project, Word, Access, PowerPoint)

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Experience with project management. Experience with bookkeeping and/or financial management.
