Position Summary: The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting for an Assistant Professor. Applicants should have a strong background in computational tools development and applications in cortical surface-based neuroimaging analysis of early brain development and demonstrated capabilities in writing successful grant proposals.

Education Requirements: Educational Background: PhD in Control Science and Engineering

Qualification and Experience: The successful applicant is expected to have extensive experience in the following research areas: *Cortical surface topological correction, reconstruction, registration, labeling, and landmark extraction for cross-sectional/longitudinal infant brain MR images; *Cortical surface-based quantification, analysis, modeling, prediction, pattern discovery, and atlases building for infant brain development studies; *Cortical surface-based multimodal data (such as structural, diffusion, and functional MRI) integration and fusion for joint analysis and parcellation of infant brains
