Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide academic tutoring and coaching to TRIO Student Support Services Classic and STEM students through drop-in or scheduled individual or group appointments.
2. Offer appropriate instructional materials and help students develop good study skills and strategies.
3. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of tutoring sessions.
4. Communicate with TRIO SSS tutoring supervisor as well as subject-area faculty as needed to ensure use of appropriate tutoring methodologies.
5. Communicate with the Tutoring Services staff regarding student issues and concerns.
Other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part/full-time basis.
1. Bachelors degree in related field from a regionally accredited institution or combination or equivalent education and/or experience or certification in related area.
2. Advanced coursework and preferred teaching or tutoring experience in related content area.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse student population.
