Oversees the production of the academic publications for the Office of the University Registrar and the production and maintenance of the content on the website for the Office of the University Registrar.
Responsible for coordinating the production of the academic publications for the Office of the University Registrar. Specific publications include the Graduate and Undergraduate General Bulletin and the Registration Guide. Supervises and trains OPS staff on the skills and tasks necessary to support the production of these academic publications.
Supervises the provision of information as sought through off campus requests, including but not limited to course descriptions, curriculum data, academic policies and procedures, and publications produced or maintained by the Office of the University Registrar (e.g., General Bulletin, Registration Guide, Campus Map). Responsible for the oversight and training of OPS staff in the collection and transference of requested documentation.
Oversees the production and maintenance of content on the website for the Office of the University Registrar, and the development and design of the structure via content management systems. Maintains close liaison with University academic departments to ensure accurate dissemination of information to the University and public.
A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years. Experience should be relevant and related to the responsibilities of the job. Qualified candidates will possess the ability to prioritize and organize multiple work assignments simultaneously. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or comparable software is required. Candidates must attach a resume to be considered for the position.
A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience related to the responsibilities of the job are preferred. We seek detail-oriented candidates who possess the ability to review, analyze, formulate, and organize data and information to support complex decision-making. Two years of experience working with University policies and procedures related to Registrar functions is preferred. Candidates should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Anticipated Salary Range
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
