Responsible for performing a wide-range of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, business decision support and financial reporting efforts for assigned organizations within the University.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage annual budget, periodic forecasts and business development plans for assigned organizations
  • Track and investigate financial trends and events
  • Develop financial business cases (ROI, breakeven, projections modeling, etc.) for proposed programs, projects and initiatives
  • Make recommendations and assist organization leaders to make timely and appropriate business decisions
  • Design, develop, distribute and monitor KPIs for assigned organizations
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of industry reports
  • Develop and monitor university, functional, college, program and course level financial budgets and actual results
  • Design, develop and monitor expense allocations (departments, colleges, programs, courses etc.)
  • Help design, implement and maintain better financial analysis, reporting and inquiry tools
  • Complete financial analysis and reports for management as requested

  • CPA preferred

  • Expertise using Excel and other financial reporting applications, including strong modeling skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business management
