Human Resource Manager

This position is only available to current UC Irvine employees.

Under the general supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer for Applied Innovation, this position provides skilled, ethical and customer service-oriented payroll and human resources management for a dynamic and diverse department that employs in excess of 60 career staff, interns, students and various limited-term and contract positions. In consultation with central Payroll and HR officers, the incumbent advises Applied Innovation supervisors on correct procedures, documentation and compliance for time-reporting, personnel record-keeping, recruitments, onboarding, performance evaluations, correction action plans, leave of absences and separations/terminations. This position will also directly manage the Payroll/Personnel System (PPS) entries, payroll, and various other transactions and adjustments. Further, the incumbent will develop and implement internal division wide policies and procedures, perform complex payroll/personnel analysis and reports.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
