Summary of Duties:
The Project Administrator (Project Specialist) is a key professional on the Modernization Initiative team providing project management services. The Project Administrator works in collaboration with the larger project management team, including the modernization Directors of Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and our project implementation partner Deloitte.

Performs a variety of duties including but not limited to: maintaining the project plan, managing the issue and key decision log, setting deadlines and evaluating milestones, tracking project team member time as required by the project management team, and presenting status reports to the executive team on a regular basis.

Duties and responsibilities for this position have a university wide impact and will be performed in support of institutional mission and goals.

The Modernization Initiative is an evolving project where all team members are expected to be hands-on in the day-to-day activities. All team members are expected to tolerate high levels of change, juggle competing priorities, request and accept work assignments from a variety of individuals.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and three (3) years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified within the project specialty. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
