This position is for Fall 2018 with the possibility of being extended into other semesters.

Assists the Office of Graduate Enrollment Management in serving members of the Marymount community including prospective and admitted students by providing information, performing office duties, researching pertinent issues, and assisting at programs and events. The position is 2/3 (210 hours per semester, average 14 hours per week) typically begins one week before each semester begins and ending one week after each semester concludes.

Minimum Qualifications

- To be eligible for a Graduate Assistantship a student must:

- Be enrolled as a graduate student in one of Marymount's graduate programs taking at at least 6 graduate credits during any semester in which you are awarded a GA position.

- For current students, graduate GPA must be at least 3.0. For entering graduate students, undergraduate GPA must be at least 3.0.

- Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA while enrolled in a graduate program.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference given to full-time students.

  • Enter basic data into the Colleague system and scan documents.
  • Assist in mailing materials to prospects and applicants.

  • Assist with graduate events such as open house programs.
  • Represent Marymount at graduate fairs on occasion.
  • Participate in Orientation events.
  • Assist coordinators with specialized follow up to prospects and applicants

  • Research and writing projects.
  • Compile aspirant and peer university admissions data as well as potential feeder programs to inform Marymount Graduate Enrollment strategy.
  • Carry out and collect survey data from prospective student events including open house, graduate ambassador tours, webinars, information sessions.
  • Collect RSVP data from prospective students to focus followup efforts from Enrollment staff.
  • Analyze prospect and applicant data, and summarize findings for staff. Identify and collect data for potential community partnership organizations.
