RESEARCH SPECIALIST A
Duties: The Department of Neurology is seeking a highly motivated Research Specialist A. The prospective candidate will study the role of glial cells in brain repair following demyelinating injury. Specifically, she/he will investigate changes in glial cell and neuronal morphology, function and expression after chronic toxin-induced injury and during recovery, using whole animal tissue, and applying immunohistochemistry and western blot techniques.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
