Job description

Duties: The Division of Gastroenterology is seeking a highly-motivated Research Coordinator to support multiple research studies related to behavioral economics, population health, and health care delivery innovation, including a population-based Hepatitis C screening outreach project. Duties will include but are not limited to: data collection and management in accordance with study protocols, following all IRB and human subjects policies and regulations; performing chart review; managing study-related materials; communicating test results to patients and providers; conducting post-intervention interviews with study participants. Prior experience with clinical research and human subject research practices is preferred.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 1 year to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Self starting, detail oriented and able to interact effectively with researchers, providers and patients. Comfort with web based platforms and technologies and troubleshooting issues with study participants. Experience working with data systems and understanding good data management practices. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel is essential, REDCap preferred.
