Advertised Job Summary: JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: Assists the executive director, director, and associate directors by planning meetings and events, scheduling appointments, completing special assignments, working with College offices on matters such as technology, facilities work orders, and ordering supplies. Prepares and maintains reports and records specific to the office. This includes coordinating the reduced tuition credit procedure and updating and coordinating budget information. Serves as first point of contact for persons entering or calling the office. Assists students, faculty, staff, and administrators by providing general information about programs and processes. Communicates with P-12 teachers and administrators on various topics and polices. Provides information to students regarding the SC Teachers Loan and the Federal TEACH Grant. Reviews, checks eligibility requirements, and updates applications for the SC Teachers Loan and the Federal TEACH Grant. Maintains database of student loan and grant records. Coordinates business functions such as purchasing and payment service and initiates travel arrangements/reimbursements. Contributes to overall unit goals by completing additional duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.
