Degree and Area of Specialization:
Ph.D. in chemistry or closely related field required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
A minimum of two semesters of experience teaching undergraduate general chemistry lectures/discussion/laboratories at the university level is required.
License or certificate:
The Assistant Director of General Chemistry Laboratories in the Department of Chemistry plays an important instructional role. This position offers opportunities for shaping the undergraduate general chemistry curriculum and for participating in the nationally recognized chemical education and outreach activities in the Department of Chemistry. Close collaboration with the faculty and other laboratory directors is expected. This position reports to the Director of the General Chemistry Laboratories.
