The Office of Clinical Trials conducts industry sponsored trials of pharmaceutical products and medical devices on human subjects.

Position Details
The Internal Medicine Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Clinical Research Coordinator III to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Recruiting patients.
* Managing and supervising the conduct of clinical trial protocols.
* Directly observed therapy (DOT) visits.
* Providing Physician Investigator (PI) support in multiple complex trials.
* Consulting with the PI on the design of new trials.
* Interfacing with the administrative staffs of both the TB Clinic and the Clinical Trials Office on fiscal and other administrative matters related to the conduct of clinical trials (including the negotiation of study budgets with clinical trial sponsors).
* Will function as primary contact with study monitors.
* Must be willing to work flexible hours.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree and four (4) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must be a licensed LVN/RN with clinical research experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Knowledge of FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) as applied to subject recruiting, screening, consenting, enrolling, and randomizing.
* Presently held CITI, IATA, HIPAA certifications are all a plus.
