    CLAIRE TREVOR SCHOOL OF THE ARTS, DEPARTMENT OF DRAMA

    The Department of Drama is establishing a search of qualified applicants for a position as part-time lecturer for Winter Quarter 2019 in the area of Acting Methods for BFA in Music Theatre.

    The department seeks applicants who can teach advanced acting methods to the BFA in Music Theatre candidates. The curriculum will include the study of Meisner, Adler and Practical Aesthetics acting techniques.

    A BA or BFA in Drama/Theater Arts is required.

    Base salary commensurate with training and professional experience.

    Candidates for this position must have outstanding professional credits in theatre and/or film as well as a strong commitment to teaching, training, and working within the university.

    Candidates must demonstrate a pedagogical and professional profile that is compatible with a distinguished graduate professional musical theatre degree program at a major research university. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability and commitment to work effectively with a diverse student population.
