Position SummaryRepresent NYU’s Global Institute of Public Health (GIPH) to potential students at on-campus and off-campus recruitment events. Advise prospective undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students on application process, GIPH programs, academic requirements, financial aid options, housing, and other student services to ensure a successful transition to NYU. Develop and cultivate positive relationships with students with the goal of promoting serious interest in GIPH programs and to encourage a positive impression of NYU’s GIPH and all of its offerings. In conjunction with the Director, manage application evaluation and assessment throughout admission cycle.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor’s degreePreferred Education:Master of Public Health degree is preferred, although not requiredRequired Experience:2 years’ admissions or related student services experience.Preferred Experience:Admissions experience in a school or program of public health is preferred, although not requiredRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to promote the University and to work independently as well as part of a team. Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations and/or people. Valid driver’s license. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and to travel extensively.
