An Instructor shows promises of teaching competence in a given subject matter area.The instructor performs scheduled teaching duties in the classrooms, laboratories and off-campus learning centers as directed by the department chairman and teaches under the supervision of senior faculty and the academic deans.
Topics of this course include computer business applications, computer components, software design, operating systems, databases, data communications, computer ethics, computer security, and management information systems.
Master's degree in computer science, or information systems or a related field is required.
College experience is preferred.
Adjunct Faculty positions are covered by a collective bargaining agreement between Dutchess Community College and Dutchess United Educators (DUE).
