Adjunct Faculty - Daniels College of Business
The University of Denver has the distinction of being the oldest private university in the Rocky Mountain region, with approximately 12,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The Daniels College of Business is one of the largest colleges within the University, with 1,800 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. We offer a variety of majors and minors, including two bachelor's degrees, four MBA degree programs and seven specialized master's degrees. The Daniels College of Business has openings for adjunct professors (part-time, non-benefitted instructors) to teach beginning in the fall quarter 2018. The college maintains a pool of qualified adjunct instructors who may be hired to teach individual lecture courses in such fields as Marketing, Accounting, Management, Finance, Business Ethics and Legal Studies, Hospitality Management, Business Information and Analytics, Real Estate and Construction Management, MBA@Denver, Executive MBA and the Executive MBA. Teaching responsibilities may include both undergraduate and graduate level courses using traditional, hybrid and online delivery methods. Teaching responsibilities may involve day, night and weekend classes.
For non-benefited job postings: This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Adjunct professors work under the direction of the Department Chair and are responsible for conducting all scheduled classes and/or labs in accordance with the mission of the college and objectives of the course. Adjunct professors in charge of lecture courses are required to prepare and deliver lectures, assignments, and exams as well as assess and grade student work.
- Masters or terminal degree and/or extensive professional experience.
- Terminal Degree.
- Teaching experience.
