Advertised Job Summary: Under general supervision, and reporting to the Director of Prospect Analytics Services, the Business Analyst will support fundraising efforts at the University of South Carolina by providing actionable information in the form of interactive charts, reports, and detailed analyses pertaining to current and prospective donors. This position requires an ability to compile and present large volumes of information using relationship management software and a variety of other sources, programs and software. Works collaboratively to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data to provide quality information, analysis and insight by adhering to quality standards and ensuring data is accurately collected and stored within the relationship management database. Supports the work of University Development through detailed report writing and data analysis of elements important to fundraising, stewardship and engagement by partnering with development staff.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems or related field and 5 years related experience; or equivalency. Previous experience working with relationship management databases and software (CRM/DRM) and the ability to quickly learn new programs and software. Previous experience managing, maintaining and segmenting databases. May be required to travel overnight to conferences for professional development, work evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver's license.
