Bookstore Shipping and Receiving Associate (PT)
The basic function of this position is the inspection, counting, checking, pricing, and display of books and supplies received by the Bookstore. The PT Shipping and Receiving Associate is also responsible for data entry and follow-up on merchandise and textbooks orders. This position assists with returns and preparation of outgoing shipments and chargebacks. The PT Shipping and Receiving Associate reports to the FT Shipping and Receiving Associate.
Assist with all aspects of shipping and receiving of books and merchandise for the Bookstore including merchandise verification, data entry and movement of inventory.
Assist with stocking shelves including preparation of pricing labels.
Assist with preparation of returns and maintenance of related records.
Manage transfers and shipments to/from Aurora Downtown Campus Bookstore.
Maintain shipping and receiving area.
Assist with customer service, cashier and answer phones.
Possible travel between Waubonsee campuses, primarily Sugar Grove and Aurora Downtown campuses.
Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year employment experience with shipping, receiving and customer service in a retail environment preferred.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to travel to all college locations required.
