Position Summary: This is a time-limited position that will be required to be renewed on an annual basis based on the availability of funding. The position includes the same benefit package as permanent positions. The Time Limited Development Associate position provides business and administrative functions in support of Student Affairs to engage parents, alumni, friends, and donors on behalf of Student Affairs. The position supports the Development team, including day-to-day office operations, coordinates and schedules internal and external meetings and events for donors and prospects; assists in the planning and implementation of cultivation and stewardship activities including annual giving activities; and provides assistance and support for the development workflow including gift processing, weekly stewardship letters, and the creation and maintenance of all prospect and endowment files. The position reports to the Director of Development for Student Affairs. Administrative and Business Support: * Manage correspondence on behalf of the Development Team as needed; * Support the Development Team with all administrative needs. Annual Giving, Gift and Sponsorship Processing, Data Management and Weekly Stewardship: * Coordinate with Director of Development and University Development Annual Giving Office to ensure that solicitation mailings for Student Affairs departments and units are written and delivered, based on timeline and structure outlined by Student Development and Annual Giving. Committee/Board Support: * Independently manage all logistics and coordination with venues for development committee meetings; (e.g. planning and coordination of presentation schedules, venue set-up, catering and special staffing requirements necessary for successful completion of events). Communication: * Excellent communication skills including verbal, non-verbal, and written; * Work independently in a team-oriented setting.

Education Requirements:

Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
