Job description

Duties: Reporting to the Research and Prospect Manager, the Campaign Research Coordinator serves as a member of the LDAR Research and Prospect Management Team, which provides in-depth research services and prospect management staff in support of the Law School's fundraising and alumni relations goals. This position supports the Research and Prospect Manager in directing, managing and coordinating the overall workload of research projects, and is critical in managing the increased research needs due to the University's Power of Penn fundraising campaign.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in prospect research and database management. Familiarity with careers in the legal, business, and finance fields a plus. Proven track record in proactive research, experience with international research and familiarity with data analysis are essential. Ability to gather, analyze & report information from diverse sources & work independently. Knowledge of computer databases and Internet resources used for prospect research required. Excellent verbal & written communication skills required. Knowledge of office procedures, practices & methods, including word processing (Microsoft Word for Windows), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel) and database (Microsoft Access) programs required; experience with prospect research resources such as WealthEngine, Lexis/Nexis, ZoomInfo, etc.
Capacity to work independently as well as a team member is essential. Ability to work on multiple projects & meet tight deadlines essential. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to many constituents in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will have a history of working successfully with diverse constituencies, including colleagues, faculty, alumni, current students, and prospective students.
