Posting Summary

This position is responsible for reviewing information technology procurement contracts and other procurement contracts with accessibility implications. The incumbent works to ensure information technology and accessibility standards are met and that contract terms further the University's interests. This position will also ensure contract compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and University policies/procedures. Additionally, the incumbent will provide training and outreach, assist in the development of a risk-based approach to contract review, and develop associated assessment tools and other resources. This position will report to the Information Security Officer, with a dotted line to the University ADA coordinator. The incumbent will also maintain close relationships with the Purchasing Services office, the Office of Compliance, and the General Counsel's Office. This position is expected to provide excellent internal and external customer service. Great organizational skills are required. This position requires minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor's degree and two to four years of related experience in contract management required.
Basic working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act and accessibility; information security and data integration issues and; data privacy and security laws and regulations required.
Computer experience with a variety of software packages, such as word processing, spreadsheet, and Adobe applications required.
Effective written and verbal communication skills required.Aanalytical skills for problem resolution and complex contract analysis.
Ability to interact with many levels of University staff and external suppliers.
Ability to set priorities, monitor workload, and meet required deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications

Assistive technology experience, or interest in learning assistive technology tools.
Experience applying Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as a digital accessibility standard.

Other Information

This position is currently funded for one year, however this position could be extended should additional funding become available.
