Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach Mathematics courses at all levels in the 2018/19 academic year. Applications will form an available applicant pool for the department. Positions will be filled, and applicants contacted, depending on departmental needs.
Applications will remain in the pool until the posting closes. To be considered after that date the applicant must reapply.
Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. in Mathematics, but those nearing completion of this degree, or a comparable one in a closely related discipline, will also be considered. Previous teaching experience is preferred. We expect to offer $5,000 for course coverage.
Part-time faculty expectations include an adherence to undergraduate program requirements, highly satisfactory attendance record, and regular, well-scheduled office hours.
