Office/Program Support Generalist

Provide office, operational, and budget support to the Staff Council Administrator and Staff Council Office. Provide information to customers (University staff); identify issues, and provide resolution or referral/resources. Maintain records and documentation, assist with program delivery and prepare/record meeting minutes. Plan, staff and provide logistical support for events. Perform budget and financial transactions. Perform website and electronic communication design and maintenance. Utilize online tools for surveys and design of event materials. Compose articles for e-newsletter. Provide functional supervision of student employees.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate's Degree with one to three years of related office experience, working knowledge of software applications used to support office functions, and familiarity with Internet resources required. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to diversity.
Previous experience in a higher education environment desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel desirable. Experience with Drupal or other web content management systems, online communications, web and graphic design, and social media highly desirable.

75% of full time with full benefits package
Hiring Min (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE))
