This will be a 2-year term position. The DCI brings 25-30 established leaders from around the world to Stanford for a yearlong program based on three core elements: finding purpose in the second half of life, building new communities and networks, and focusing on health and wellness. DCI also has an approved IRB protocol to assess the program's effectiveness on individuals, institutions and society.

Under the direction of the Executive Director and the Associate Director for Strategic Initiatives and External Relations, the Administrative Associate will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the logistics for 3 off-site national conferences in 2019. The venues may include Washington DC; Philadelphia, PA; and Orlando, FL. Duties will include negotiating venue and catering arrangements, managing invitations and rsvps, developing or collaborating with others on conference websites and social media outlets and traveling to be onsite at the conferences. This position will also be responsible for organizing complex on-campus events, including reunions and meetings of a growing and active group of alumni of the program. He/she will also manage the Associate Director's calendar and support other DCI strategic initiatives, including scheduling, and preparation of materials, including handouts, graphs and charts.
