Temple Law School is a recognized leader in international law with a long history of international engagement. In addition to the main campus in Philadelphia, the law school operates campuses in Beijing, Tokyo, and Rome, as well as over a dozen J.D. student exchange programs spread around the World. Under the direction of the Dean, School of Law, the incumbent will be responsible for the direction and administration of international programs and graduate legal education. This includes the development and implementation of new programs and the redesign of existing programs. Responsibilities include development of policies and directives, marketing, publication, production and coordination of all programs. These programs are revenue based and required to be self-supporting. Also assists with the law school's Institute for International Law and Public Policy, helping to coordinate academic and scholarly programs on international law with the school's award-winning international law faculty. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: JD Degree and at least five (5) years' experience in the legal or legal education field. Demonstrated experience in managing/supervising a team of professionals in an educational or legal environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: * Demonstrated computer experience to include MS Office Suite including spreadsheets and knowledge of resources to enhance marketing and communications. * Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies as well as plan, design and develop new post JD and international programs, as needed. * Strong project management skills. * Ability to maintain academic records and programs. * Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty and staff. * Ability to interact effectively with practicing attorneys on subjects that relate to graduate and international legal education. * Demonstrated ability to supervise the program budgets, as well as the compilation and maintenance of all data and the preparation of administrative reports and evaluations. * Ability to travel both internationally and domestically. * Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as necessary.
