Residence Life Director Assistant
The University of Kentucky is currently seeking applicants for 6 Residence Life Director Assistant positions for the Residence Life Department.
Assistant Directors in Residence Life are newly created positions at the University and are part of a departmental restructuring to better support the department and professional growth. Assistant Directors are responsible for supervision of in-hall staff across multiple buildings, including two or three Resident Directors, Graduate Assistant Resident Directors, and student staff. Each Assistant Director will also have primary responsibility for one of the following six major functional areas within the department: staff recruitment, staff training, crisis management and desk operations, student development and leadership, student conduct, and residential curriculum. Each Assistant Director serves as a member of the Leadership Team, serves on-call, and is involved in establishing key performance indicators and practices within their respective functional responsibility.

Required Related Experience
Required License/ Registration/Certification
Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 25 lbs; sitting for long periods of time.
Primarily days (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), with some evenings and weekends as required.
MS Access, MS Office (word, PowerPoint), and Database Management.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
Prefer Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, or Public Administration.
