Department Overview
The Department of Educational Psychology is located in the College of Education at UNT. The Department houses programs in Human Development and Family Studies; Special Education; Gifted and Talented Education; and Research, Measurement, and Statistics. The faculty and projects in the Department study a range of themes in cognition, achievement, behavior, and emotion across the lifespan for individuals, schools, and families. Statewide program leadership and management of HIPPY in Texas.

Job Description
The Educational Psychology Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Sponsored Project Associate Director to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Direct the strategic and operational activities and supervise program staff consisting of a project coordinator, administrative coordinator, and student worker.
* Director will work with the faculty Principal Investigator to integrate HIPPY into the research and teaching missions of the department, and for approval of grant and funding decisions.
* Specifically and in that context, the director develops and allocates budgets.
* Oversees program implementation.
* Develops and oversees grant writing and sustainability activities.
* Makes statewide model, program, and financial decisions.
* Determines operational focus of the program model; and informs evaluation goals and direction.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in related field and five years of professional related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

* Ability to serve as a PI on a grant.

Required: May depend upon program/project.
