Degree and Area of Specialization:

M.S. required in agriculture, environmental science, ecology or a related field.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Four years of experience managing integrated research, outreach, and education projects in the agricultural and ecological realms. Experience with multi-stakeholder projects focused on land-use issues. Experience interacting with undergraduate and graduate students on transdisciplinary projects. Understanding of curricular requirements of undergraduate and graduate programs.

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of Dr. Randall Jackson, the 50% FTE position coordinates stakeholder engagement activities of the recently funded UWLandLab, which is positioning itself to be a clearinghouse and broker shop for discussions leading to ecological solutions to vexing land use problems.

Additional Information:

This position is being recruited at a 50% FTE. There is a possibility the FTE may increase, depending on departmental needs.
