Summary of Duties: The Administrative Assistant position performs a variety of complex duties in support of the application and admission program within the Office of Admissions. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to: liaison to departments, unit staff, professional programs, and campus locations; supervising front end staff; reviewing and processing undergraduate applications for admission; using delegated authority for admitting or denying student admission based upon evaluations of academic credentials; entering applicant information into databases. This position provides support to the Operations unit. and may include other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School graduation or equivalent AND three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative work; OR equivalent education/experience.
