Grants & Special Projects Coordinator

Center for Business Growth & Innovation


Serves as accounting and finance resource for the Center for Business Growth and Innovation (CBGI); creates and develops methods and procedures to collect client and partner feedback and metrics; analyzes client and partner feedback and provides recommendations and solutions for program managers to refine and further develop program offerings; provides accounting, operations, and metrics oversight to existing grants and other sources of revenue; identifies and evaluates grant and other funding opportunities for CBGI and prepares grant applications; provides professional financial and operational technical assistance to client businesses; and hires and supervises student staff. This is a part-time position.

Bachelor’s degree plus at least three years of combined experience in an accounting, finance, management or business ownership role. Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field; knowledge in grant management, administration, writing and contract funding in a non-profit or public sector organization; record of accomplishment in developing relationships with internal and external constituencies that support and assist in accomplishing organizational goals; experience in a business consultant capacity; and strategic thinking and problem solving skills preferred.
